Di parole se ne sono ormai dette tante e soprattutto è difficile trovare nel novero degli aggettivi quello giusto per definire la situazione attuale del Paese. Il Paradiso terrestre immune dalla crisi e dai pericoli finanziari, improvvisamente si è trasformato nel castello di Dracula ove in ogni angolo è presente una particolare insidia pronta a minacciare la tenuta istituzionale ed economica dello Stato. Stato è un termine che spesso lo tiriamo fuori ma al cui significato poco ci pensiamo, convinti nel nostro immaginario che sia rappresentato soltanto da chi occupa i palazzi istituzionali. Se questo è vero, è altrettanto vero che lo Stato si scioglie anche nel rapporto cittadino-istituzione, nel comportamento che ciascuno di noi pone in essere per favorire il funzionamento della macchina statale. E’ un po’ come un grande orchestra: da un lato c’è il maestro che dirige, dall’altro ci sono gli orchestrali che eseguono. Il vero problema però è che attualmente ci troviamo in una situazione in cui il maestro agita la bacchetta senza leggere lo spartito, e gli orchestrali suonano in ordine sparso, generando soltanto rumore. L’aver bocciato con una semplicità devastante il rendiconto dello Stato; il non aver ancora nominato il governatore della Banca D’Italia; il non aver minimamente pensato a cosa inserire nel decreto sviluppo, lascia presagire come la nave inevitabilmente andrà a sbattere senza che nessuno muoverà un dito. Ciò che davvero è altamente fonte di riprovazione è l’impotenza della macchina statale a fronte di particolari emergenze, sulle quali si vuole intervenire con mezzi di natura “impudica” pur di resistere al potere. L’idea del condono “trombale” è quanto di più meschino possa agitarsi nella coscienza del legislatore, perché significa distruggere totalmente la soglia di legalità all’interno del Paese. Si vuole annichilire il senso civico di chi sostiene l’apparato statale con la propria contribuzione costante e continua rispetto ai furbetti che troverebbero nel provvedimento in esame la strada per l’assoluzione da tutti i peccati fiscali. Poi non bisogna trascurare l’altra faccia della medaglia, cioè la società con i suoi profondi guasti culturali, la quale è abituata per un certo verso a sguazzare nel fango. Non so che senso abbiano le manifestazioni di protesta che quotidianamente invadono le strade della capitale all’insegna dei soliti slogan, striscioni e “fatti zero”. C’è sempre una strumentalizzazione della protesta di singole categorie che però non trovano mai il sostegno unanime da parte di altre articolazioni della società civile. Se ad esempio scendono in piazza gli operatori della scuola perché lamentano mille problemi, restano isolati nel loro cammino. Come se la scuola riguardasse soltanto chi la frequenta o ci lavora, tralasciando il fatto che l’ossatura del sapere rappresenta la base per la credibilità e la crescita di un Paese. In altri Stati, se la scuola andasse a rotoli, si mobiliterebbe gran parte dell’opinione pubblica; se le cose non vanno si occupano piazze per mesi interi costringendo la classe politca ad un forzato passo indietro. Da noi tutto questo non succede, perché volente o nolente prevale sempre e soltanto una forma acuta di egoismo, ove gli interessi collettivi non trovano minimante la giusta considerazione. Non lamentiamoci se poi tutto sta andando in malora, perché chi è causa del suo mal pianga se stesso. Siccome però alle mille chiacchiere sciorinate a destra e a manca ancora non segue nessun tipo di sovvertimento dello status quo, vuol dire che il disagio sociale da tanti invocati, è soltanto una pura invenzione propagandistica per fini mediatico-elettorali.
