La normalità perduta

E’ prassi ormai consolidata, nel linguaggio di tutti i giorni, tirare in ballo il concetto di normalità, ed associarlo alle vicissitudini permeanti il nostro paese. Si sente spesso dire: non è normale che in un paese civile e democratico si sia sommersi di rifiuti; in un paese normale la classe dirigente deve avere una condotta eticamente pura; in un paese normale non esiste la possibilità di interferire in modo spietato sull’autonomia di uno dei poteri dello Stato; in nessun paese democratico chi detiene il potere non si arroga il diritto di bloccare il contenuto del palinsesto televisivo pubblico; se fossimo un paese normale sicuramente chi sbaglia deve pagare sul serio, e non beneficiare dell’impunità assoluta; in un paese normale se hai problemi con la giustizia, nemmeno per l’anticamere del cervello ci si può candidare alla guida del governo del paese né tantomeno a quella di un piccolissimo comune di provincia. Questo piccolo insieme di “normalità”, trova spazio nel linguaggio dei cittadini, dei politici, degli amministratori delegati di aziende, dei funzionari di banca, insomma affratella tutti nel nome di un’utopia latente. Se al concetto di “normalità” si ricorre così spesso, allora vuol dire che il suo senso logico nonché il riflesso materiale sono andati perduti. Non bisogna aprire la mente a rebus articolati per capire il naufragio della “normalità italica”, bensì soltanto fare una banalissima riflessione. La normalità è dettata da un semplice concetto: le regole e il loro rispetto. Una società per non stritolare la propria essenza in una centrifuga di anarchia assoluta, si da delle regole, il cui rispetto permette ad ogni membro della stessa di godere delle proprie libertà, ma anche di far fronte a quelli che sono i doveri.
In un sistema così regolamentato, chi detiene il potere di far rispettare le regole, deve in prima persona assumere un comportamento moralmente impeccabile, che funga da esempio per tutti i membri della società a cui le stesse regole si riferiscono. Chiaro è che se tutti rispettano le regole, magari con qualche piccola eccezione, allora possiamo dire che questo tipo di società rispecchia un paese normale. Quando però, chi detiene il potere infrange le regole, non ci si può aspettare che gli altri s’impantanino in un ossequioso ottemperamento delle stesse, il che inevitabilmente si scioglie nella “normalità perduta”. Gli esempi riportati a monte, dimostrano senza tentennamenti come il rispetto delle regole in Italia sia soltanto una chimera, e che pur essendo (momentaneamente) un paese europeo, si sta uscendo dal concetto di democrazia civile. Chi comanda delle regole se ne frega; chi è vicino a colui che comanda cerca di porsi sotto il mantello della protezione nuda e pura; chi non riesce a coprirsi sotto il mantello (il povero cristo) viene atrocemente bastonato dalla “sete di giustizia”. L’Italia è in costante emergenza. Gli scontri di Terzigno; la protesta dei pastori sardi; il tentativo di bloccare alcuni programmi televisivi; la frana nel messinese lo scorso anno; le scuole intrise di amianto; la sanità meridionale inesistente; le infrastrutture sognanti; gli uomini dai mille incarichi e i disoccupati di lusso, sono il frutto di quella normalità che non c’è più in quanto chi dovrebbe riportare il Paese alla normalità ha una visione totalmente opposta a tale accezione. Occorrerebbe un miracolo culturale nel nostro paese, in grado di aprire la mente della gente ed indurla a guardare le cose in modo diverso, ma “ad impossibilia nemo tenetur”, nemmeno colui che ci guarda dall’alto.
