Non nella simpatia degli uomini
si trova il coraggio,
ma nel guardare i giorni
con sguardo profondo e attento.
Stupore che ogni tanto
bussi alla porta
dei momenti quotidiani,
altro non sei che mare
ad occhi chiusi.
Se gli occhi si aprissero
al giorno conteso e rituale
troverebbero nulla di meritato
e molto di rovesciato.

Not in sympathy of men

but in looking day
with deep look and attentive.
Wonder who occasionally
knock on the door
of everyday moments,

with open closed.
If the eyes be opened
